“Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep.” Psalm 36:5-6

In Psalm 35, David is asking that the Lord contend with those who contend with him. He is asking to defend him against those who are acting with no just cause to be against him. Those who are acting haughty to be revealed and put to shame for what they are doing, that angels pursue them and drive them away. Amen. God rescues and He saves from those too strong for them. David said, May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant. My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.” David praises God in Psalm 36.

God is faithful. His love reaches to the heavens! God is so faithful, more than anything on this planet or in the universe seen and unseen. God is more trustworthy and faithful than all these things present or future. His righteousness is like the highest mountains and justice like the great deep. Let’s trust in His love today. Amen.
