“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” Romans 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of the power that is over all other powers and principles and time and space and everything—-It is the gospel. It is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed to live by faith. For “the righteous live by faith”. From first to last. That means, there’s never a time to go out from under the life of faith in God. We never need to take a break and go to something else because nothing else is our resource. EVERYTHING comes from God EVERYTIME and ALL-THE-TIME. God said in Psalm 49:12,

“If I were hungry I would not tell you,
    for the world is mine, and all that is in it.”

God is everything and is in everything. All other boastful “resources” can bow to God. So we live by faith. In Whom? In Jesus! His One and Only Son. That’s why we wait and we trust in the Lord, not in ourselves, no longer! Hallelujah! God be praised!

The gospel saves.

Thank you, Jesus, for your wonderful Gospel that has the power for all peoples from every walk of life to be saved! Hallelujah! Let us throw off the sin that wants to easily entangle, that means unbelief and also that means other desires that crowd our hearts, and let us run the race! And tell people about Jesus saving love in the name of JESUS! AMEN.
