“Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods. Rather, worship the Lord your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.” ~ 2 Kings 17:38-39

God himself is the Almighty and Powerful God. Maker of both heaven and earth and everything in them. He is great and worthy of praise. Obeying God requires no permission from this world; we don’t check with the standards of this world to check and make sure they agree with God. No, it’s the other way around. I’m asking God to examine my heart and take out all the things that would flinch or hesitate when God speaks. Apostle Paul said “Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection“1 Corinthians 9:26-27a. I bring myself to observe God’s covenant and I turn to worship and praise the Lord! He is my God. He is my deliverer. Focus on God today! Take time, which the world sees as your most valuable commodity on this earth, and show your time who your God is. Spend time with the Lord.  

Lord Jesus, we need you now more than ever. We need your guidance. We need Your Spirit. We need your love. We love you. Be glorified through our lives.
